Alexis "Lexi" Jones

Alexis "Lexi" V. Jones, 22, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Lexi was born June 25, 1996 in Battle Creek to Ronald Jones and Jamie Pancost.

Lexi had an infectious smile and loved to laugh and sing. She was a 2014 graduate of Pennfield High School. Lexi enjoyed spending time with her family and her dog, Ava.

Lexi is survived by her mother, Jamie (Jeremy Lahr) Pancost; her father, Ronald (Kira Mcleod) Jones; step-parents, Jeremy and Paula VanDorsten: her siblings, Dakota, MaKenzie and Breana VanDorsten, Gavin and Trent Jung, Kirstin and Scott Batey and Cathrine Vaughn, grandparents Greg & Joann Pancost, James& Kathleen Lindsley, Todd & Collen VanDorsten and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ronald Jones and grandmother, Linda Cate.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5th, 2019 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Lexi's life will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 6th.
