Anna L. Wright

Anna L. Wright, 94, of Battle Creek, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Manor of Battle Creek. She was born October 5, 1921 in Union City to Edward and Vera (Coger) Halstead. She married Forest L. Wright in 1940. They were married for 50 years before he sadly preceded her in death in 1990.
Anna was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and worked at Weston Biscuit for 30 years.
Anna is survived by her brother, Kenneth Halstead, three sisters, Gladies Robertson, Mary Jane Williams and Donna Jean Felder; and a niece, Julie McVickers.
In addition to her husband Forest, she was preceded in death by her baby brother Charles, her brother Wilbur in World War II, and Lester.
Anna and her husband enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with her family.
No visitation is planned. Graveside Service will be held 1:00 pm Friday, September 9, 2016 at Wilcox Cemetery, Nashville, MI, with Pastor Thomas C. Townsend of the Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or Manor of Battle Creek.
