On April 23, 1949, Bev married Bob Hamilton of Battle Creek.  They lived in Grand Rapids for a short time, before moving to Battle Creek when Bob established his law practice. They lived in Battle Creek until 1996 when Bob retired and they moved to New Smyrna Beach, FL.  They returned to Battle Creek for the summers until 2008 when they moved to Stone Mountain, GA to be closer to their daughters.  Bev moved to Marietta, GA in 2017.

Bev was a homemaker.   She was a great cook, decorator, and hostess.  She enjoyed art, gardening, golf and tennis, duplicate bridge and the stock market.  She was a member of the Junior League of Battle Creek, the First Congregational Church and the Battle Creek Country Club.
