Brian E. Spencer

Pastor Brian Spencer went to be home with the Lord on June 4th, 2021.

Pastor Brian Eugene Spencer was born in Jackson, Michigan on September 8th,1937 to Clarence and Marion (Cogswell) Spencer. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon (Oberg) Spencer. He is survived by his sister Anita Anderson, three children, Lynn, Jill and Dan, and six grandchildren Kassie, Kallan, Pierson, Garrett, Mira, and Emerson.

Brian Graduated from Moody Bible Institute. Brian pastored three congregations in Michigan in his 48 years of ministry, Reed City, Rockford, and finally 28 years at Calvary Baptist Church in Battle Creek, Michigan.

He was known for his kindness, upbeat spirit and sense of humor.

A service to celebrate Brian's positivity and to give glory to God will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1625 Capital Avenue N.E., Battle Creek, MI 49017, 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021.
