Cathy Sue Pahl, age 60, of Battle Creek sadly passed away on Thursday evening, October 5, 2017. She was born in Battle Creek on June 16, 1957, and was the daughter of Duane and Orma (Dolphin) Kissinger. Cathy received a business degree from Davenport University and faithfully served at Denso Manufacturing for more than 17 years. She enjoyed sewing, gambling, and most of all loved spending time with her family.
Cathy is survived by her mother, Orma Kissinger; five children, Larry (Cindy) Seeley, Missa (Billy) Mexico, Steve VanVleet, Alta Marie (Nick) LaPorte, and Betsy Pahl; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her brother and sisters, Tammy (Joseph) LaPorte, Alice (Eddie) Stanton, Sandra Dubay, and Luther (Patti) Kissinger; her lifetime personal friend, Edwards VanVleet; her lifetime partner in crime, Yvonne Green; several nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Cathy was sadly preceded in death by her son, Todd Crane on August 23, 2017 and her father, Duane Kissinger.
The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 11th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where funeral services to celebrate Cathy's life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Cancer Care Center at Bronson Battle Creek.
