Christopher "Chris" Nicholas Kuliczkowski of Battle Creek, MI,
Chris, age 26, died unexpectedly Thursday, December 19, 2013 at his residence.
Chris, the son of Leo P. and Jodie L. (Moore) Kuliczkowski, was born on December 25, 1986 in Yuba City, CA and moved to this area in 1988. He was a 2006 graduate of Pennfield High School and was a welder for the Union Shop Local # 333. Chris was a natural athlete and excelled in everything he applied himself to whether playing football, basketball, baseball or ice hockey or his other hobbies of darts, Frisbee golf or paint balling. Chris will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends!
Surviving is his mother and step-father, Jodie and Ron Hutcheson of Delton, MI; his father and step-mother, Leo and Mandy Kuliczkowski of Battle Creek; his sister, Nicole Irene (Brian) Vinyard of Battle Creek; two brothers, Peter E. (Kerri Hansen) and L. Phillip (Stephanie Tucker) Kuliczkowski, both of Kalamazoo, MI; his maternal grandfather, Roy (Penny) Moore of Battle Creek; his maternal grandmother, Janet Moore of Battle Creek; his paternal grandfather, Leo Kuliczkowski of Battle Creek; a step-sister, Katie Hutcheson of Stevensville, MI; four step-brothers, Tyler (Brooke) Hutcheson, Spencer Saint and Henry Saint, all of Battle Creek and Collin Hutcheson of Stevensville; four uncles, Terry (Diane) Lewis of Avilla, IN, Kenneth (Michelle) Kuliczkowski and Jeff (Holly) Moore, both of Battle Creek and Jack (Marcy) Moore of Middleville, MI and his special niece and nephews, Micalla, Brian and Briley Vinyard and a very dear friend, Brittnay. Chris was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Phyllis Irene Kuliczkowski and an uncle, Peter S. Kuliczkowski.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, 92 Capital Avenue, Battle Creek, with Father John D. Fleckenstien, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Banfield Cemetery, Johnstown Township of Barry County, MI. Friends will be received on Sunday, December 22nd from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek, where the Parish Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Memorial contributions in Chris' honor may be directed to the donor's choice.
