Cindy Lee Myers, age 56, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, July 2, 2017. She was born in San Joaquin, California on October 3, 1960, the loving daughter of Gladwin H. and Alma M. (Susich) Corbin. Cindy worked in Accounts Payable for more than 30 years for Senior Oil, now Corrigan Oil.
Cindy was united in marriage to James L. "Jim" Myers in Las Vegas, NV on January 1, 1983; he sadly preceded her in death on March 4, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Joanie (Benjamin) Kolar of Augusta and Amber (Benjamin) Leary of Battle Creek; two grandchildren on the way; two sisters, Sherry Corbin and Wendy (Bob) Pendergrass, both of California, and several nieces & nephews. Cindy was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Pam Hughes.
A dedicated employee, Cindy truly enjoyed working at Senior/Corrigan Oil. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing recipes, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2017 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where funeral services to celebrate Cindy's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017 with Rev. Dr. Gerard L. Spoor, Pastor of West Leroy Bible Church, officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Lacey, MI.
