Clifford G. Simpson Jr. was called home on February 16, 2024. He was born August 26, 1960. A lifelong resident of Battle Creek, Clifford graduated from Harper Creek High School in 1979. He was employed with Mr Steaks, which then became Finley’s for 28 years until medical reasons forced him to retire. Clifford was a Colon Cancer Survivor and was 15 years into remission.
In his free time Clifford enjoyed spending time with his large extended family. He was an avid NASCAR Fan and a huge Bob Villa Fan. Clifford could just about walk you through any mechanical project on a car but would never help. He was by far the BEST supervisor and could critique with finesse. There was never a question of what he was thinking about the given situation.
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, Pearlie and Clifford Simpson and two nephews, Jeremy and Grover. He is survived by sister, Sherrie (Jeff) Roberts; brothers, Grover Simpson, Richard Simpson, Jerry (Linda) Simpson and Clarke (Susan) Lawson; nieces, Lisa (Wally) Seger and Sarah (Brian) Pesonen; nephews, Jeffrey (Ashley) Roberts, Levi (Katie) Roberts, Dillon Simpson, and Eric Simpson; great-nieces, Natalie Seger, Makennah Roberts, Landyn Roberts, Alivia Pesonen, Savannah Roberts and Kinslee Simpson; great-nephews, Wally Seger Jr, Bryce Waigand, Braxton Cook, Ethan Roberts, Elijah Pesonen, Corbin Pesonen and little Levi Roberts and numerous cousins.
