Cody Culp

Cody Eric Culp, 18, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and formerly of Battle Creek died suddenly early Saturday Morning, February 23, 2013. He was born in Battle Creek on May 5, 1994 the cherished son of Eric K. and Anngil L. (Penney) Culp.
A very loving & caring young man, Cody, through his sense of humor & jokes, always tried to make people smile no matter the situation or how he was feeling. He loved spending time with his family & friends and he had an immeasurable love for his brother & sister. Cody enjoyed skateboarding, music and playing video games.
Cody is survived by his parents, Eric and Anngil Culp of Fort Wayne; his brother, Riley Culp; his sister, Leah Culp; grandparents, Keith & Mary Culp, Connie Benson and Roy (Susan) Penney; his special-uncle, Nigel (Tara) Penney; great-grandparents, Madge & Ormie Benson, Suzanne (Bill) Biltz, Lola Mae Culp and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
At the request of the family, they will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek where the scripture service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday. Funeral services to celebrate Cody’s life will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the funeral home with Father Francis Marotti, officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek.
