Craig Lee Dolbee

Craig Lee Dolbee, 30, passed away suddenly February 24, 2018. Craig was born on October 13, 1987, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

He grew up in Battle Creek and graduated from Lakeview High School and Western Michigan University. He was most recently employed by All You Need Grand Rental. He enjoyed playing and coaching tennis and spending time with friends and family, especially at the family cottage in Baldwin, Michigan. He was voted everybody's buddy by his graduating peers at Lakeview. As one of his friends related, "He was everyone's friend, there was nothing to dislike about Craig".

He is survived by his parents John and Tara Dolbee, brother Kent (Kara Hoorn) Dolbee, sister Brenda (Michael) Beck, nieces Jordynn and Taylor Dolbee, nephew Carson Beck, aunt and uncle Mary and Tim Dolbee, cousins Mark (Vanessa) and Annabelle Dolbee, and Allison (Todd) Halonen and Madelyn and Koelle Halonen and his very special friend, Jeni Burns. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gordon and Jean Dolbee and George and Charlotte Murphy. Craig will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Westlake Presbyterian Church in Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to either the Lakeview or St. Philip tennis programs. Arrangements are through Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
