Cynthia K. "Cindy" "Kay" Laxton

Cynthia K. Laxton, age 42, of Battle Creek, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2021. She was born to Becky (Taylor) Britten and David W. Laxton on January 26, 1979.

Cynthia is survived by her parents, Becky L. Taylor (Britten) and David W. Laxton; her children, Thairras Laxton and Tonia Patterson; brother, David L. Laxton; and sisters, Carolyn R. Laxton and Leslie A. Laxton. She was preceded in death by her brother, David W. Laxton and her sister, Susan J. Laxton.

Cynthia K. Laxton, also known as Cindy or Kay, was a very crafty chic. She loved to paint just about anything. She could take an old ugly sculpture and turn it into something beautiful. She loved sitting with her sister Leslie making crafts and doodling. She had a very sarcastic sense of humor. She always laughed hard when she scared someone enough to make them jump. The simple things in life made her life bright. She loved to cook for people and boy oh boy could she ever cook some good food, however baking was not her specialty. She was always ready to find a new way to annoy her brother David. When someone needed a helping hand she was there to help. She enjoyed helping her mother and spending time with her. She was very proud of herself for learning how to run a chainsaw.

Funeral services to celebrate Cynthia's life will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 9th at the Rhema Word Outreach Center, 31242 North M-66, Battle Creek, MI 49017. Arrangements by Farley Este Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
