Darrell D. Lepper

Darrell, the son of Delmer Henry and Velma Lucille (Springer) Lepper, was born November 17, 1948 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. He was raised in Ft. Wayne, where he was a 1966 graduate of Concordia Lutheran High School; received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and his Master's Degree in Business from Indiana University. Since 1992 he and his wife, Julie have organized and promoted Shipshewanna On The Road. Darrell enjoyed tinkering and loved cruising Sonoma Lake on the pontoon boat with his family.

Darrell married the former Julie A. Walter on October 17, 1981 in Battle Creek. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Julie; his stepson, Gregory G. (Eileen) Fountain of Battle Creek, MI; his granddaughter, Allyson Fountain; his brother, Lowell (Carol) Lepper of Ft. Wayne, IN; mother-in-law, Edythe Walter of Battle Creek; sister-in-law, Rebecca (Kenneth) Comport of Battle Creek and a niece, Wendi R. (fiancée - Mark Donahue) Reynolds of Hermitage, TN. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents

At the request of Darrell's family, friends will be received on Monday, January 21^st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek. The Funeral Service to celebrate Darrell's life will be held on Tuesday, January 22^nd at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas E. Pumford of Pumford Ministries, Banister, MI, officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek. Family and friends are invited to continue Darrell's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon immediately following the committal service at the family home. Memorial contributions in Darrell's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1400 West Milham Road, Portage, MI 49024.
