Dean Alan "Dino" Worden, II, 37, of Battle Creek, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Dean was born September 26, 1985, in Battle Creek, Michigan the son of Dean Worden and Vicky Lee (Edwards/Worden). Dean grew up in Battle Creek, attended St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School, and graduated from Calhoun Community High School. Dean was self-employed in marketing and design.
Surviving are his mother, Victoria Lee (Edwards/Worden) of Delton, MI; father, Dean Alan Worden (Heather) of Battle Creek; brother, Gabriel (Jill) McKelvey of Davenport, FL; sisters Brandy Worden of Westland, MI, Chloe Worden of Los Angeles, CA; special nephew, PFC Dillon McKelvey serving in the U.S. Army in South Korea; and a special niece, Leah McKelvey of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Dean enjoyed amusement parks, swimming in the lake, boating and fishing, riding dirt bikes off-road, and watching sports. He participated in rocket football, martial arts and snowboarding. He liked drawing abstract art, listening to a variety of music, and taking walks with his sister Brandy. He enjoyed golfing and fishing with his dad and his brother, Gabe. This summer he thoroughly enjoyed driving the pontoon on the lake at his mom's. He took joy in jumping off the pontoon and floating in the middle of the lake with his mom and family. Dean will be remembered for his sense of humor, spending time with his niece and nephew, and enjoying the rides at Cedar Point with family and friends.
Friends will be received 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Cremation Preneed Care, 105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI 49017, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 61 N. 23rd St, Battle Creek, MI 49015 by Rev. Christopher Ankley, 11:00 am, Friday, November 18, 2022. A luncheon will be held immediately following the services at the Parish Center, on the premises. Following the luncheon the Committal and interment will be held at Cedar Creek Cemetery, 9683 Cedar Creek Rd, Delton, MI, 49046.
