Glenn Edward Rogers

Glen Edward Rogers, age 71 of Ceresco, Michigan passed away Friday afternoon, February 2, 2024.   He was born in Iola, Kansas on February 4, 1952, the son of Robert L. and Dorothy Grace Elizabeth (Lear) Rogers, and faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army from 1970 to 1973.  He enjoyed walking in nature, camping, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Glen married the “Love of His Life”, Sally A. Clawson in Jackson, Michigan on May 22, 1982; she survives.  He is also survived by his three children, Tracie (Matt) Woodman of Albion, Robert (Katherine) Rogers and David Rogers, both of Battle Creek; three grandchildren, Sasha Rogers, Matthew Moore, and Brynlee Rogers; a sister, Amy Rogers; and several nieces & nephews.  Glen was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert and a sister, Mariam.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8^th at the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Relay for Life and the Calhoun County 4-H.  Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.  Personal messages for the family and favorite memories of Glen may be placed here at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
