Gregory Allen "Greg" Smith

Gregory Allen Smith, 58, a lifelong Battle Creek area resident died at home prior to the Christmas Holiday.

He was born November 20, 1959 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Billy C. and Elizabeth Ann (Godsey) Smith. Greg grew up in Battle Creek and attended Pennfield High School. He was a hard-working, dedicated employee, who traveled extensively for Wikoff Color Corporation, retiring seven years ago as a District Sales Manager covering multiple states.

His marriage to the former Wendy Kay Miller produced two wonderful sons. Surviving are two sons, Cody Smith of Wyoming, Michigan, Colin (Paige) Smith of Battle Creek; his mother, Elizabeth Ann (Fred) Shaw of Battle Creek; his father, Bill Smith of Battle Creek; his sister, Peggy (Michael) Howard of Battle Creek and a special friend, Cathy.

Greg was a sports fan and was especially interested in NASCAR, hockey, and football. He formerly enjoyed golfing.

A gathering to celebrate Greg's life will be begin 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Wild Mike's, 22575 North Bedford Road, Battle Creek, MI 49017.
