James William Fontaine Mitchell

James William Fontaine Mitchell, 67, of Battle Creek, died Friday, December 13, 2024. James was born August 29, 1957 in Chicago, IL to William and Ernestine (Moreaux) Mitchell. He graduated high school and honorably served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a heating and cooling technician for many years. 

James was preceded in death by his parents, Ernestine Moreaux and William Fontaine Mitchell. He is survived by his children, Elise Wyrick (Lynn Wyrick), Theo Mitchell (Toronda Mitchell), and stepson John Davis. He was a proud and loving grandfather to more than eight grandchildren.
