Jason Ryan "Jay" Yother

Jason Ryan "Jay" Yother, age 39, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2021. He was born in Battle Creek on March 24, 1982. Jason was very dedicated to his family and strived to be the best Dad and husband. He enjoyed making people laugh and his corny Dad jokes were his specialty.

Jason is survived by his fiancé, Melisa Berry of Battle Creek; his daughter, Ilana Yother-Hartsfield of Florida; his son, Abel Yother of Battle Creek; step-son, Orion Berry of Battle Creek; sister, Shannon Yother of Florida; and many special cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles. He was sadly preceded in death by his biological mother, Mary Yother; his grandmother & Adopted Mom, Shirley Parrish; and his aunt, Theresa Yother.

Due to current government restrictions, cremation has taken place and a memorial to celebrate Jason's life will be held when it is safe to gather again.
