Jaylen M. Worthington, age 6, passed away unexpectedly December 23, 2020 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Jaylen was born February 21, 2014 in Marshall to Markus Worthington and Sierra Traylor. Jaylen was a very special young boy who loved to play outside, video games, dinosaurs and basketball. He was a Kindergartener at Woods Lake Elementary School and loved to eat his oranges.
Jaylen is survived by his father, Markus Worthington; his mother, Sierra Traylor; his grandparents, Kimberly Worthington, Latasha Mingus, Brandon Mingus, Marlania Payne and Antwone Boykins; great-grandmother's, Deborah Frantz, Rosetta White and Mary Wilson and two siblings, Malak'ali and Zahiya'Aami.
Jaylen was preceded in death by an aunt, Kathrine Worthington; his great great-grandmother, Patricia Worthington; great great-grandmother, Kathlyn Traylor; cousins, Marquez Jones Jr, Key'Sean Parker and great great great-grandpa, Charles White
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Jaylen's life will be Thursday, January 7th at 1:00 p.m. A livestream of the service will be available at the following link: https://vimeo.com/496940382.
