Jeffrey Joseph "Jeff" Wiseman

Jeffrey Joseph "Jeff" Wiseman, age 50, of Battle Creek, passed away at home on Friday, December 11, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Amelia "Nichole" Wiseman. He was born in Battle Creek on June 22, 1970, the Son of Alan Wiseman and Katherine (Jim) Barnes.

Jeff was a very loyal, knowledgeable, and compassionate man. He met Amelia in high school and they were married on July 17, 1993. After graduating from Battle Creek Central High School, Jeff worked for Chapman's landscaping, moving on to a few manufacturing jobs. After retiring from those jobs, he went on to start a lawn care business with his son. Jeff loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He loved fishing, music, camping and the outdoors. He was a real animal lover, a collector, and a very talented artist. He enjoyed riding his redline bike in his youth. Jeff was a handyman and enjoyed landscaping very much. He was always proud of his work, a perfectionist if you must say, and he was really a jack of all trades. Family was THE most important thing to him.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Amelia; his parents, Alan Wiseman and Katherine (Jim) Barnes; his in-laws, Chuck & Lolita Carlisle; his children, Kodi (Jeff) Southwell, Caleb (Katriena) Wiseman, Connor (Sondia) Wiseman, and Caleena (Jeremy) Wiseman; 9 grandchildren, Madison, Bentley, Elsie, Landon, Elizabeth, Cameron, Giovani, Jeremiah and Ailani; sisters, Kris (Brian) Beckwith, and April Turnock; brother, Doug Wiseman; sister-in-law, Monique (Dave) Altman; brothers-in-law, John Ramon, and Marcus Rupert; nieces, Amber (Derek) Roach, Lacey (Cody) Wiseman, Cloe (Patrick) Watkins, Scarlett Ramon and Rylee Altman; nephews, Kyle Wiseman, Philip Turnock and Ace Altman; and lots of great-nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Edna Wiseman and Junior & Helen Thurman.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
