Joyce E. Trombley

Joyce E. Trombley, 67, passed away October 7, 2013 at Borgess Medical Center, Kalamazoo.

Joyce was born to Jim and Alma (Spindlow) Platz in Coldwater. She graduated from Lakeview High School. She worked for the Kellogg Co. for 42 years retiring from quality control.

Joyce married Thomas A. Trombley on May 23, 1970, he survives. Also surviving are her daughter Shannon, her mother; sister, Judy Rutherford; nieces Cheryl and Cindy Lindhurst; nephew, Jamie Rutherford; and a grandniece, Julie Rutherford. She is also survived by sister in-law Pat Miller of Oklahoma and her family. We would like to recognize some great friends, Debbie Iden, Sheryl McConville and Deb Reynolds and her Tuesday morning golf partner, Mary Thompson.

Joyce loved to play golf and go fishing. She also loved music and was a great singer. She sang for many of her friends at their weddings. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

The memorial service to celebrate Joyce's life will be held in the chapel at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2014. Arrangements are by the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home. Personnel messages can be left at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
