Kathy L. Rothwell

Kathy L. Rothwell, age 57, of Battle Creek died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. She was born in Battle Creek on August 11, 1959, the daughter of Clarence R. and Sharon M. (Arnett) Osborne.

Kathy married the "Love of Her Life", Elwin E. "Elvis" Rothwell in Battle Creek on August 16, 1975; he sadly preceded her in death on November 19, 2015. She is survived by her daughters, Trena Rothwell of Indiana, Tonya (Jason Miller) Rothwell of Battle Creek, and Krissy (Casey Johnson) Rothwell of Battle Creek; her grandchildren, Landon Miller, Logan Miller, Colin Miller, Dawson Noaeill, Hailey Miller, and Cayden Noaeill; two brothers, Duane (Stacy) Osborne and Kevin Osborne; her sister, Tina Osborne; a special sister, Judy Rothwell; special daughters, Michelle Hull and Tracy Chaib; a special cousin, Deb Case, and a special friend, Martha Zubaly. Kathy was also preceded in death by her parents.

Kathy truly enjoyed collecting "Wizard of Oz" Collectibles, sewing, and camping. She also loved spending time with her family and with her girls.

The family will receive friends 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where a memorial service to celebrate Kathy's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the family.
