Krystal Marie Martens

Krystal Marie Martens, age 33, of Battle Creek went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, May 24, 2017 at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. She was born in Battle Creek on August 23, 1983, the daughter of Bobby J. Welcher and Audrey E. (Martens) Withers. She graduated from Harper Creek High School in 2002 and furthered her education at Kellogg Community College.

Krystal was sadly preceded in death by her sister, Stephanie Nichole Welcher in 1985; and her maternal grandparents, Milo D. Martens and Mildred "Midge" Martens. Krystal is survived by her mother, Audrey Martens-Withers; her father, Bobby J. Welcher; her brother, Keith Allen Welcher and his wife, Charity Welcher; and her niece, Nevaeh Welcher.

Krystal enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping people in need.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Krystal's life at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the "Anybodies Playground" at Bailey Park.
