Lori A. (Tuttle) Gardiner

Lori A. Gardiner, age 54, of Battle Creek passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 3, 2015. She was born in Battle Creek on July 4, 1961, the daughter of Duane H. and Elsie M. (VanWormer) Tuttle.

Lori is survived by her daughters, Misty (Jeff) Wiest and Angela (Jason Bryant) Gardiner, both of Battle Creek; her loving boyfriend, Jeff Brownell; her five grandchildren, Destanee, Hailey, Katelyn, Dayton "Bubby", and Gabriel; her great-grandchild, Kyri; her friend and former husband, Rob Gardiner; her sisters, Ruby Currier and Kathy Head; her brothers, Harris, Curtis & "Jimbo" Tuttle, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sandra Colby, Mary Caldwell, and Linda Lou Tuttle; brothers, Charles & Timothy Tuttle, and two nephews, Kraig Millsap and Shane Parker.

Lori's greatest love in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family during cookouts, holidays and other great family events. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts, sewing, gardening, flowers, Harleys, moons & stars, scary movies and her bulldogs, Permillia and Baxter. A "Mom" to so many, Lori truly would help take care of anyone in need with anything they needed. She had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh and always made them feel comfortable no matter if it was at her home or just time together.

A memorial gathering will be held 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Historic Bridge Park. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the family c/o Misty or Angie.
