Lori Diane Oleksyn, age 57, of Lawton, Michigan passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, January 5, 2021. She was born in Hastings, Michigan on February 9, 1963, the daughter of George W. Born Jr. and Lenna L. (Latta) Born. Lori had an amazing love for her daughter, her family, and all animals, but especially rescued cats & dogs. She is the most beautiful Angel and will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her daughter, Shasta Oleksyn; her mother, Lenna Born; her brother, George Born III.; three sisters, Deb (Bill) Allen, Mary (Max) Main, and Karen (Mark) Bissett; and several nieces, nephews & friends.
At Lori's request cremation has taken place and a memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to Kindred Hospice or the Humane Society of South Central Michigan. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
