Lucille Ann "Lucy" Gay

Lucille Ann “Lucy” (Gray) Gay, age 83 of Richland passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 22, 2024.  She was born in Nashville, Michigan on July 31, 1940 the daughter of Robert E. and Ila L. (Jarrard) Gray.  Lucy graduated from Nashville W.K. Kellogg High School with the Class of 1958 and continued her education at Argubright Business College.  She retired from Gull Lake Schools in 2004 after more than 20 years of service.  Lucy enjoyed traveling, yardwork and entertaining her neighbors.   

Lucy is survived by her sister, Lois (Glen) Richardson; her granddaughters, Megan and Rebecca Woodworth; and her nieces & nephews.  She was sadly preceded in death by her daughter, Jill Ann (Gay) Woodworth; her parents; and her brother, Norman Roger Gray.  

The family will receive friends 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 30^th  at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel 9170 East D. Ave. (M-89) Richland, where a memorial service to celebrate Lucy’s life will begin at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries 448 N.
