Mark E. Kayser

July 6, 1963 — July 31, 2020

Mark Edward Kayser, age 57, of Battle Creek, lost his battle with cancer Friday afternoon, July 31, 2020 at his home with his loving wife Angela by his side. He was born July 6th, 1963, the son of Edward and Dianne Kayser. After graduating from St. Johns High School, St. Johns, Michigan in 1982, he entered the U.S. Air Force. He served for 25 years in the field of logistics, within the United States and Europe, rising in rank from Airman to a highly decorated Master Sergeant before retirement in 2007. He later used his logistics knowledge as a civilian with positions at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center, Battle Creek Veterans Hospital, and AMYX.

Anybody that knew Mark knows he had a passion for anything mechanical, especially cars. He always had more projects in the works than he had hours in the day. He also enjoyed computers, playing pool, fishing, and riding his bike. Mark would always lend a hand to anyone, giving you the shirt off his back.
Mark is survived by his wife Angela, son Jacob, daughter Roxanne, both of Germany, step-son Nickolai, father Edward, step-mother Janet, brothers David, Brian (Mary), Matthew (Wendy), mother in-law Ludmila of Russia, step sisters Terri Thelen (Yvon Dufour), Jaime (Ben) Cox, step brothers Doug (Tammy) Kline, Bradley (Crystal) Kline, and several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by mother, Dianne Kayser and Sister in-law Shari Kayser.

Mark's family will receive friends at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care at 105 Capital Ave NE, Battle Creek, MI from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 5th, 2020 with a funeral service to celebrate Mark's life to start at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Rev.
