Mary Ann Hull

Mary was born June 2, 1947 in Battle Creek to Joseph and Vera (Lewis) Hilton. She worked at Meijer’s for many years as a cashier and customer service clerk, as well as the service desk for Sunshine Toyota and Haggin Wimberly Ford dealerships. She was a member of AARP and the Women’s Auxiliary at the VFW. She enjoyed going to casinos, golfing, reading, and loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a lifelong member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. 

Mary was united in marriage on September 19, 1970 to Micheal Hull. She is survived by her husband, Mike; daughter, Jo Lynn Whimper; grandchildren, Alexis and Audris Warden, Britney and Bradley Roach, and Caleb Brandt; great-grandchildren, Zaveon and Amari Avendano and Sa’Miah Williams; and sisters, Carol Gilcher, Joey (Larry) Miller, and Jeannie (Phil) Goodrich. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jill Bammer and a brother-in-law, Gill Gilcher.

A memorial to celebrate Mary’s life will be held Friday, December 15, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home, Augusta Chapel with family receiving friends for visitation at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
