Naomi Jean Mosier, 74, of Nashville, Michigan died at Spectrum Health Pennock in Hastings, Michigan on Thursday, December 23, 2021.
Naomi was born February 20, 1947 in Charlotte, Michigan to Aldo and Lawave Grace (Dodge) Rugg. She grew up in Delton and attended Delton-Kellogg High School. Naomi was a homemaker, always willing to put other's needs in front of her own and always caring for her daughter, Teresa. She always put family and especially her grandchildren first. She was a true follower of Arnold Murray's Bible teachings. Naomi loved car races at Galesburg Speedway, taking her great-grandson to the roller skating rink, going out to eat with her family and taking family trips to Kentucky Kingdom amusement park.
Naomi Jean Rugg was united in marriage to Donald Mosier on July 14, 1974 in Battle Creek. Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Don Mosier on November 24, 2004; her son, Robert Bailey on December 28, 2003; Robert's son and Naomi's grandson, Adam Bailey on May 6, 2004 and Connie's son and Naomi's grandson, Stanley Zinny on February 9, 2000. Surviving are three children, Donald Bailey and Teresa Bailey both of Nashville, MI, Connie Mosier of Battle Creek; grandchildren, Vic Hillman, Brandon McEwen, Marissa Green, Briant Bailey, Bandi Kay Bailey, T.J. Dice; great-grandchildren, Brandon McEwen, Kasen Hillman, Breylnn Mann, Casey Watson; brother, Lloyd Rugg, sister, Harriett Rugg and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. Naomi was also preceded in death by her parents, Aldo and Lawave Rugg; and siblings, Vic Green, Vern Green, Bud Rugg, Rhoda Roe, Alta Datish, Melford Rugg, Sue Gay and Ardith Rugg.
