Norma J. Lipscomb 97, of Climax, Michigan passed away Friday, December 23,2022 at home, surrounded by her loving family. Norma was born on August 2, 1925, the daughter of Vern A. Quick and LaVera A. (Doster) Quick in Banfield, Michigan.
Norma was a devoted mother and help mate for her husband Clark E. Lipscomb on their farms. In her early years of their marriage, she worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Co.
Norma graduated from Delton Kellogg high school in 1943. She was united in marriage to Clark E. Lipscomb in 1945. She was always ready with a meal for whoever stopped by for a visit.
Norma was a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Urbandale and also a member of The Newcomers Farm Bureau group in Climax for over 50 years.
Norma is survived by her children; Gary (Mary) Lipscomb of Dowling, Mike (Joette) Lipscomb of Berne, Indiana, Cliff (Diane) Lipscomb of Climax, and Jill (Gerald) Conley of Springport, 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. Special friends Wayne and Peggy Elwell and John Cernius.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband Clark E. Lipscomb, her parents, and a brother Lawrence Quick.
Friends will be received 2:00 â 4:00 p.m. and 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 28th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where a funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Ron Kenney 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 29th, 2022.
