Pamela Theresa Rondeau

October 16, 1956 — December 8, 2021

Pamela Theresa Rondeau, 65, of Mt. Pleasant, formerly Battle Creek passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, December 8, 2021, at Prestige Centre Assisted Living & Memory Care in Mt. Pleasant.

She was born October 16, 1956, in Battle Creek to George and Lorraine (Markowski) Rondeau and was the youngest of six beautiful sisters.

Pam's caring spirit and generous heart could be felt by anyone she came in contact with. She had a special gift of not only seeing the good in people but bringing out the best in them as well.

Pam was an avid lover of anything that had to do with her family. She traveled the United States in motorhomes, boats, cruise ships and airplanes. She loved staying in hotels and playing slot machines at casinos.

Her nickname was BatPam. She loved everything and anything that was Batman. Her wardrobe, bedspread, blankets, pillows, birthday cakes, wall art, TV series, movies, slot machines - all of it, even her Halloween costume.

MeTV and TVLand were her favorite stations. She loved watching Gilligan's Island, Gunsmoke, Golden Girls, Brady Bunch, MASH, Lost in Space and Andy Griffith. She collected many of these as t-shirts and posters.

Pam's favorite meal was referred to as the "Whole Damn Thing". It consisted of a McDouble no pickle, a small french fry and a big, big, big Diet Coke. This was always her choice when she got to pick (and even when she didn't).

Pam loved to have her nails painted. Her mom did this for her every week before church. This continued even after she moved into the Prestige Centre. The relationship she had with her mother was like no other. They shared the most beautiful bond.

Pam lived life to the fullest. She was fun loving, outgoing and vibrant. She loved to dance and sing and joke around. She approached life like it was one big party.

Pam was a shining light to all who knew her. She will be missed more than any words could express but she will be forever in our hearts.

Pam is survived by her sisters, Gloria (Gordon) Miller of Augusta GA, Diane Rondeau, RSM, of Sterling Heights and Darlene (Robert) LaMarre of Lincoln, NE; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and her new family at Prestige Centre. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Lorraine; and her sisters, Marcia Bracy and Sandra Wisniewski.

The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care 105 Capital Ave., N.E. Battle Creek, MI49017 where services to celebrate Pam's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Deacon Al Bell of St. Philip Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens with her mom and dad. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prestige Centre of Mt. Pleasant, 5785 E Broadway Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858.
