Patricia "Patty" Ann Hull, 76, of Battle Creek, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, March 29, 2014.
She was born in Battle Creek on May 30, 1937, the daughter of George and Ethel (Lindroth) Wright. Patty was a 1955 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School. Prior to her marriage, she was briefly employed at Eaton Manufacturing, but her life was all about being a dedicated, loving wife, Mom and homemaker.
Patricia Wright was united in marriage to Gerald "Jerry" Hull in Battle Creek on February 16, 1957. Sadly, Patty was preceded in death, by her husband, Jerry on November 7, 2006, by her grandson, Andrew Lepper on January 13, 2004 and by two brothers, Bobby and Earl. Surviving are her two loving daughters, Lisa Hull and Shelly (Bill) Woodward both of Battle Creek; two sons, Christopher (Carrie) Hull of Grand Rapids and Jeffrey (Audry) Hull of St. Johns, MI; ten grandchildren, Gabe Lepper, Adam (Bekah) Hull, Brandon (Becky) Woodward, Libby Woodward, Melinda Woodward, Scott Hull, Amanda Hull and Jeremiah Hull; two sisters, Naomi Marietta and Charline (Ron) May and a sister-in-law, Judy Wright.
Patty loved Tiger baseball, gardening, sunshine, birds, motor homing, caring people, to be happy, hugs and especially having all her family together. She was a long-time member of Redemption Lutheran Church and a former member of First Congregational Church. She volunteered at Riverside Elementary School and SNAP Pre-School.
Friends will be received at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014.
Funeral services for Patty will be held at Redemption Lutheran Church 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014, with Pastor Karl N. Strenge officiating. Committal and entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
