Richard "Dick" Adams

Richard E. “Dick” Adams, age 65 of Richland passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday evening, January 24, 2024.  He was born in Kalamazoo on March 5, 1958, the son of Earl and Eileen (DuFault) Adams.   Dick graduated from Gull Lake High School with the Class of 1976 and was employed with Schawk Matthews for many years.   He truly enjoyed playing golf, fishing, boating, grilling, his cats, and spending time with his family.

Dick is survived by his daughter, Erin Adams; a niece, Virginia (Nils) Langum; and a brother, Robert Adams.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, JoAnne Langum; and a nephew, John Langum. 

A memorial gathering to celebrate Dick’s life will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel.  Interment was held privately at Yorkville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the American Kidney Fund (www.kidneyfund.org) or the National Kidney Foundation (www.nkfm.org).  Personal messages for the family may be placed here at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
