Richard Lynn Geno, 56, of Battle Creek, lost his battle with cancer on the morning of August 30, 2022, at 2:30 am, in the comfort of his home.
Richard was born June 7, 1966, in Nashville ,TN, the son of Harold and Ivy (Hall) Geno.
He enjoyed spending as much time as he possibly could with his grandson's. He absolutely adored his dogs. He was a hardworking man and had started his own painting business and that itself is a huge accomplishment. Richard always put his family first and absolutely adored his dogs. He was a very outgoing man who loved life and touched the lives of many,and will be deeply missed for many years to come.
Richard is survived by his son, Shaine Michael Hammons; grandsons, Michael and Mason Hammons-Juarez; brother Harold (Tuffy) Geno, Jr. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Mike Geno.
The family will receive friends 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, September 13th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where services to celebrate his life will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Battle Creek Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Personal messages for the family and favorite memories of Richard may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
