Robert Glen "Bobby" Gates

Robert Glen “Bobby” Gates, 33, passed away peacefully in his sleep on March 9, 2025.

Bobby was born to Glen Gates and Joy Gates on January 15th, 1992. He attended Pennfield schools and in 2002-2003 he attended and graduated from the Young Marines.

Bobby loved the outdoors, spending time on the lakes and drawing. He is survived by his father Glen Gates, mother Joy Mell (Rick), brother Thomas Gates, son Lyric Gates, stepbrothers Brandon Mell, Nicholas Mell, Lucas Mell and Ben Mell, and his Grandmother Joyce Seaman. He is preceded in death by his stepbrother Quinten Mell.

Per Bobby’s request, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
