Robert H. Moats III., age 57, of Battle Creek died after a long battle with Cancer on Friday, November 1, 2019, at Bronson Battle Creek. He was born in Gary, Indiana on February 16, 1962, the son of Robert H. and Brenda Faye (Dunahoo) Moats Jr. Robert graduated from Battle Creek Central High School with the Class of 1982 and furthered his education at Jackson Community College, graduating with the Class of 1985. He worked at a chicken farm in Nottawa, MI where he met the "Love of His Life" for more than 33 years, Linda Fletcher. Robert also worked at Denso Manufacturing, and owned & operated Clear Reflections Pool Co. with his son, Robbie in Las Vegas, NV.
Robert is joining in death his father, Robert Moats, Jr.; his grandparents, Robert and Norma Moats, Sr.; and his uncle, Jerry Moats. He leaves the "Love of His Life", Linda Fletcher; their three kids, Robert H. "Robbie" Moats IV., Christine (Josh) Fulbright, and Robert (Crystal) Fletcher; his mother, Brenda McClain; his brother, Justin McClung; four granddaughters; two grandsons; and three nieces.
Robert has four cats that he has adopted as his kids, that he loved. He also loved to play golf, bowl, playing poker with his friends, and having 4th of July parties with family and friends. Robert loved his football and was an avid fan of the MSU Spartans and Green Bay Packers.
The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 6th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where services to celebrate Robert's life will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 7th.
