Rodney "Scott" Wilson

Rodney "Scott" Wilson II, age 50, of Battle Creek, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022.

Scott was born on March 31, 1972 in Battle Creek to Rodney Scott Wilson I and Sharon (Davison) Tenney. He received his Bachelor's Degree in business management. Scott loved football, his favorite team being whoever Tom Brady played for. He was a card shark and enjoyed talking smack and playing video games. His children were the most important thing to him and he loved spending time with his family and his dogs.

Scott is survived by his sons, Trenton and Xavier Wilson; mother, Sharon (Buzz) Tenney; brother, Michael (Carrey) Wilson; sister, Wendi (Mark) Whal; step-siblings, Joel (Dina) Tenney, Kevin (Sarah) Tenney and Lisa Alger; as well as Jolene Wilson. He was preceded in death by his dad, grandparents, and three dogs.

Scott's family will receive friends on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home (105 Capital Ave. NE). A funeral service will be held there on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Donations in Scott's memory may be made to the Humane Society.
