Sally, age 73, went to be with her Lord Monday evening, January 6, 2014 at her son's residence and surrounded by her loving family.


Sally, the daughter of McKinley and Reva (Lykins) Fletcher, was born in Salyersville, Kentucky, on April 5, 1940. Surviving siblings include Junior Perkins, Bonnie Roark, Cash Fletcher, Wince Fletcher, Lidie Barnet, Vonda Miles, Nora Revile, Linda Eldred andMary K. Fletcher. Also surviving is her former spouse, Warrick Gipson and children, Brenda L. Caraway of Elkhart, IN, Danny J. Gipson of Elkhart, Vella S. (Brian) Shimkus of Marshall, MI, Kennel (Rebecca) Gipson of Elkhart, Tony R. (Angela) Gipson of Marshall, Warrick Junior (Jennifer) Gipson of Battle Creek, Howard D. Gipson of Goshen, IN, Marty Gipson of Elkhart and Syvanna M. Gipson of Elkhart and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Charles Fletcher, Henderson Perkins, Lucy Spradlin, Hazel Green, Dean Fletcher, Warnnie Ray Fletcher, Eddie Arnold Fletcher, Clay Fletcher, Louise Eager, Sally May Fletcher, Cevil "Dickie" Fletcher; husband, Roy Caldwell; son, Jimmy Gipson and a grandson, Timothy Hamilton. Sally loved the Lord, her children and her grandchildren.


The Funeral Service to celebrate Sally's life will be held on Friday, January 10th at 1:00 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, Battle Creek, with Pastor Mike Sparks of the Resurrection Power Ministries, officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Battle Creek. Friends will be received on Thursday, January 9th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral Home.
