Sally M. Ringle, age 81 of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Monday morning, September 11, 2023. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on November 16, 1941, the loving daughter of Dewey and Reta (Jerue) Lovely, graduated from Lakeview High School with the Class of 1959, and retired from the Kellogg Company in 2003 after more than 33 years.
Sally married the “Love of Her Life”, David B. Ringle on December 5, 1959; he sadly preceded her in death on September 15, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her son Jeffrey Joseph “Jeff” Ringle on March 30, 2019. Sally is survived by her daughters, Lori Pierman of Kalamazoo and Sheri (Terry) Wilcoxson of Pullman, Michigan; a daughter-in-law, Megan Ringle; grandchildren, Sarah Pierman, Santiago Barroso II., Cody Ringle and Tyler Ringle; her sister, Rosalie (Kenny) Drawant; and several nieces & nephews.
Sally was a member of the Kellogg 25-year club and the St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, card making, rubber stamping, technology, traveling, playing Bingo, Bunco & Mahjong, but most of all she loved spending time with her family & friends, especially her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where the Parish Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 15, 2023 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 61 N 23rd Street, Battle Creek. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association or Centrica Care Navigators.
