Thomas Lee Baker

Thomas Lee Baker, 69 of Battle Creek, MI, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2022. He was born on May 21, 1952 in Marshall, MI. Thomas enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1973 and proudly served his country for seven years.

Thomas is remembered as a very kind and outgoing guy. He was very giving and would do anything for anyone in need. Thomas loved his trips to South Haven, MI, going to car shows and having the opportunity to fellowship with his church family at the Men's Breakfast every month at Victory Life Church. Thomas's faith was very important to him and he was very active in his church. Thomas is loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.

Thomas is survived by his mother, Eleanor Yates; his daughter, Veronica Baker; his brother, Herbert (Mary); his sisters, Carol Yates, Alice (Rickey) Warren, Rose (Ricardo) Meza and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and his brother, Earnest Yates.

Funeral services for Thomas will be April 26, 2022 at 12:30 p.m., at Victory Life Church in Battle Creek, MI. Visitation will be an hour and a half prior starting at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to Victory Life Church. Arrangements are by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
