Thomas A. Clearwater

Thomas Allen Clearwater, 28, of Battle Creek, died tragically in an automobile accident Saturday, May 6, 2017. Thomas was born September 17, 1988 in Battle Creek to Richard L. Clearwater and Ann Dowell Council. He worked as a forklift driver for Asmo Manufacturing.

Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Ella Hope and Emma Faith; his son, Connor James; his grandmother, Judy Brown; father, Richard (Sue) Clearwater); mother, Ann Council; a sister, Constance Clearwater and a great-grandmother, Nerva Tripp.

Thomas was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Irene Clearwater, an uncle, Randy Clearwater; his great-grandfather, Warrington Tripp; a grandfather, Thomas Allen Dowell and a grandmother, Hellena P. Dowell.

Thomas loved playing disc golf, fishing, working on cars and working with his hands. He especially enjoyed making people laugh and spending time with his children and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Thomas' life will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Marshall Murphy.
